SEATTLE - It was another great week of competitive practice. Played some small goals, worked on shooting, and especially focused on moving the ball around the back line. Our movie making skills have been tested, as we are filming more movies to advertise our next few games. On Thursday morning we practiced at 8 and had a delicious breakfast at Jimmy V's before hitting the road. The bus and the airport turned out to be perfect places for filming, so we got some great footage - I can't say more though! The weather in Washington has been a little different than we're used to in Cali, but the team did well to come back from a 1-0 deficit to win 2-1 on Friday. Saturday, we flew to Seattle and practiced on the indoor turf field. The Huskies had a football game and the campus was packed with tailgaters from Oregon and Washington. We had a very entertaining walk through the parking lot as we received a mixture of cheers, boos, and directions to the library. Someone even asked Courtney what the square root of pi was. After practice we had a delicious meal at Hillary Heath's house. We settled into her living room and watched Stanford Football dominate. Now it is Sunday and we are getting pumped up for our game against the Huskies. They have been having a great season, so this should be a good match up. Everyone is gunning for us, and we have to treat every game like it is for the Pac-10 championship and the National Championship. It's been a fun trip but we are all excited to get back to Palo Alto and play our last three Pac-10
